SMTP Access For Your Account
We recommend using the SMTP of your ISP as this is the most common method, however, if you would like to use ours, you can set it up as follows:
First thing is to enable the SMTP setting in your account control panel. Login to the control panel using your email address. >>> Click on "manage" for your email account. >>> Click on Enable/Disable SMTP Service >>> Choose ENABLED from the SMTP SERVER drop-down menu.
Now, in your mail client, under TOOLS >>> ACCOUNTS >>> PROPERTIES >>> SERVERS (This may vary depending on which version mail client you are using).
SMTP should be set to mail.yoursite.com
MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION should be checked. Under the settings button, the radio button USE SAME SETTINGS AS MY INCOMING MAIL SERVER should be selected or you can enter the same information as your incoming mail if this feature is not available in your mail client.
Under the ADVANCED tab, change the SMTP Port from 25 to 587 (Note: Not all mail clients allow for you to change your smtp port.)
You can also utilize our web based email system to send mail using the SMTP server with your account.
A Google fan at heart
My brother recently told me that he set my website as his home page. Wow! What a complement. You see I've always set google as my home page because that's usually the first place I go to start a search. So here is what I'm thinking, I should add a google search bar to my website. That way I set my website as my home page as well, and still have google!
I'm thinking this will make James' life easier too. James, since I know you're reading this, what do you think?
